20 December 2012We now have two new Waterview Units available for occupancy – 1 x 2 bedroom and 1 x 3 bedroom.
They are perfectly positioned right on the riverfront with unsurpassed views of the water, and both are equipped with modern facilities, large open living and dining areas, fully equipped kitchens, laundries and spacious balconies with BBQ and outdoor entertaining areas.
Originally the building was a display unit for a proposed holiday resort, to be called Essence, however this development didn’t eventuate, and the project was shelved indefinitely a few years ago.
This turned into a blessing for Blue Dolphin, as the building has since been converted into 2 luxury units for our guests to enjoy.

11 October 2012Blue Dolphin Holiday Resort was recently ranked as the No. 4 holiday park for families in New South Wales, by the Holidays with Kids 2012 Top 10 Holiday Parks awards.
Annually, holiday parks are ranked based on votes made by readers of the Holidays with Kids Magazine and this is the third year in a row Blue Dolphin Holiday Resort has been in the Top 10 for the state.The holiday park is managed by the FreeSpirit Resort and Holiday Park Management Group who manages or consults to several other award winning parks within Australia. -

The Ballina bypass has finally opened!
It is estimated the bypass will take 1500 trucks and 6500 cars a day off Ballina's streets, while saving countless lives on the Pacific Hwy.
The bypass was jointly funded by the Federal ($450 million) and NSW ($190 million) governments and is considered a milestone in efforts to rebuild the entire highway from Sydney to the Queensland border.
The Ballina bypass means regular users of the Pacific Hwy will no longer have to negotiate five roundabouts and multiple traffic lights through Ballina, which added up to 12 minutes to a typical journey. There is also improved road safety, uninterrupted highway traffic flow and easy access on and off the highway for local traffic.

21 December 2011The Variety Ride 4 Kids is not a race, with the emphasis being on ensuring that you enjoy a relaxing weekend away, cruising sealed country roads whilst raising much needed funds to empower Queensland kids who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs.
As a fundraising event, participants are encouraged to set themselves a fundraising goal prior to the event. This could be as easy as simply asking your mates to sponor you. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.
The 2012 Variery Ride 4 Kids takes you on a fully planned two day road trip that's all about having a great ride with your mates and helping Queensland kids in need.
On sealed roads from start to finish the journey starts in Brisbane and tracks south towards Yamba, taking in the beautiful scenery that South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales have to offer. The second day will see riders making their way back to Canungra in Queensland along the Pacific Highway.

22 September 2011Blue Dolphin Holiday Resort is celebrating the announcement that they have ranked Number 3 in family-friendly holiday parks in NSW. The Park was recognised in the annual 'Holidays with Kids' travel magazine awards, voted by the national magazine's readership of over 600,000 parents, 61,000 online members and customers of Club Med and TakeABreak.com.au.
Categories included activities for kids, staff hospitality, accommodation, location, safety and family fun.
