- Loved it!08/05/2012 - 11:1308/05/2012
My partner and children stayed at this resort over the long weekend just gone and absolutely loved it. We stayed in the standard cabin which was perfect for the two nights and had everything we needed. The cabins in the park all looked like they were brand new (not sure how old the park is) and the grounds and pool areas were very well maintained and tidy with ample trees. The kids had a great time as there was always something for them to do, their favourite was the giant jumping pillow. I found the reception staff very friendly and helpful. We found alot to do in the area but unfortunately needed more than a weekend to see it all. The beaches were really pretty and scenic. I cannot think of anything negative to say about this resort and will return for a longer holiday (probably over summer as we are Queenslanders and felt the cold :) ). One tip though, bring aerogard as there were mosquitos.

Dear Sheila,
Many thanks to you and your staff for all the help you gave us last weekend for our Canada/Alaska Tour reunion.
We really appreciated the use of the Palms Room and the Camp Kitchen, the multi-media facilities, and of course the very generous prize for our photographic competition of the long weekend in a Deluxe Waterfront Cabin. I can assure you that the winner, Ray Chilton, will take full advantage of the prize.
We also want to thank both you and Kay (Bluey) for joining in the spirit of our reunion, and Suz for taking photos. Everybody has commented on what a great weekend it was, and I know that those who are able to will visit the Blue Dolphin again.
Once again, many thanks to you all for a wonderful weekend.
Your sincerely,
Di Lewis (Prof.) and Brian Mathiesen (Dr)

I returned to the Blue Dolphin Holiday Resort at Yamba last week. We had booked a camping site but due to predicted thunderstorms we decided to hire a cabin for the week. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and our wishes for a cabin was granted with no fuss at all. During the week we were informed by staff members that due to heavy rain there was a chance that there may be minor flooding in the park. Even though this was "only a chance", the staff kept us informed and made sure we continued to enjoy our holiday. Due to the fact that the roads were cut off we were unable to leave the park and head home. The staff made sure we were able to keep our accomodation and went out of there way to keep us informed and make sure we had a great time. I will definately return to this holiday park. The facilities were great. I really enjoyed swimming in the pool, the barbeques were always clean, there was plenty for the kids to do. A big thank you to all the staff at the park for making sure what could have been a stressful holiday was one of the most relaxing holidays I have had

What a great place the Blue Dolphin is, highly recommended to all family's and groups.
We had a camping holiday at the blue dolphin resort from the 21/04/2010 to 26/04/2010 there were 14 adults and 16 kids (yes 16 kids) and we cant speak highly enough of the facilities and the staff were fantastic.
We were welcomed with a smile and having such a big group this was not a problem, the kids loved the pool with the slides, kids cave, games room and especially the park and beach.
And the adults just enjoyed being at a beautiful location. Thankyou for looking after us so well we cant wait to come back next year. Regards Simon JonesWritten by: Simon Jones
